Our Vision

In view of the changing environment for academic pursuits in Hong Kong, a group of concerned colleagues decided to form an entity in Hong Kong with a global agenda to nurture creative and critical minds among aspiring researchers and practitioners.

Our Mission

The mission of the entity legally stated in the Foundation’s article of association is as follows:

“For advancement of education, to help young scholars in Hong Kong and any part of the world by supporting them. For advancement of Education, to help young scholars in Hong Kong and any part of the world by providing them with funds to (a) embark on creative, inter-disciplinary and inter-regional research, focusing on a broadly defined Asia; and (b) work on research products in whatever means and forms.

In doing so, to promote field-oriented explorations leading to analytical and conceptual breakthroughs, and through the research products, to enhance public knowledge in humanities and social sciences.”
